Your company’s logo is a big decision — it will accompany you for a long time, until time leaves its mark and calls for a restyling. But it will always retain its original essence and meaning. A logo is as important as the name itself. Indutec Solid gives a small hint of what we do, but it's not the full picture. Our “hyperbolic paraboloid,” for those professionals who recognize it, helps place us within a specific industry.
But what is a hyperbolic paraboloid?
It’s a doubly ruled surface that can be constructed from straight lines, resulting in a three-dimensional shape — just like our logo. It’s widely used in architecture. For example, Calatrava used it near our facilities in the Oceanogràfic of Valencia — the submarine restaurant building and the main entrance.
And finally, here’s why we chose a hyperbolic paraboloid as the logo for Indutec Solid. If you’ve been following us, you already know how much importance we place on our engineering department. That’s why we knew one of our strong suits would be thermoforming complex parts — and for that, double curvature is essential (ring a bell?). One of our specialties.
Hyperbolic paraboloid — we love you!!!
