In 2019, we developed the Ducha Lona for Master EASD Valencia at the Feria de Muestras in Valencia. This innovative archway shower features a convex top that mimics the natural flow of water, creating an ancestral sensation of rain. The integration of Krion Snow White and acrylic allows LED lighting to highlight the threads of water, transforming a simple shower into a spectacular exhibit. Collaborating with Lucas Vilanova and employing advanced technology allowed us to present an exceptional piece at the fair, demonstrating the perfect blend of design and functionality.
Collaborating with Master EASD Valencia and Lucas Vilanova on the Habitat Stand 2019 project was a rewarding experience. The collaboration with the client was excellent, adapting to their needs to create a shower that not only served its purpose but also stood out as an impressive exhibition piece. A curious detail of the project was the closed water circuit incorporated for the fair. Initially, we thought there was a leak because the tank was emptying quickly, but it turned out that the water cascade in contact with the air was causing the consumption. This project is a perfect example of how innovative design can exceed expectations and create a lasting impact.
Collaborators
For the Ducha Lona project, we used TopSolid to design all the Krion and acrylic components and coordinated the execution with advanced tools CMS-PF112 and Biesse Rover B. The process included precise machining of the pieces, thermoforming in a membrane press, and orbital sanding with 240 grit. The installation of the LED matrix and hydraulic control was carried out by specialized partner companies. Each component was carefully assembled to ensure optimal quality and performance, highlighting our ability to handle complex projects with precision and attention to detail.
